7 Days of Self Love Challenges
Welcome to the Self-Love Challenge!
In a world where we often prioritize the needs and expectations of others, taking the time to nurture and appreciate ourselves can feel tough but it doesnt have to be if you take small steps. This challenge is designed to guide you on a journey of self-discovery, self-acceptance, and profound inner growth. Over the next 7 days, you will engage in daily activities and reflections aimed at enhancing your self-awareness, boosting your self-esteem, and fostering a deeper sense of compassion towards yourself.
Embrace this opportunity to explore what it means to truly love yourself. By committing to this challenge, you are taking a powerful step towards a healthier, more fulfilling relationship with yourself. Whether you're looking to heal, grow, or simply reaffirm your worth, this challenge is here to support you every step of the way.
Let's embark on this transformative journey together!
Day 1:
The Mirror Talk
Look in the Mirror, point at yourself and repeat 3 affirmations to counter what you are feeling right now. Example: You are amazing, you are doing great, you are loved, you are enough.
This exercise allows you to associate yourself with the new story you want to tell yourself in a third person point of view. Imagine someone else telling you this narratives about yourself.
Day 2:
Identify the pros and cons of your life:
Do a pros and cons list of your life. List down what is going well and what’s not.
Actively do and pay attention to whats going well. Express gratitude to that area of your life.
Be conscious of removing the cons, or rewrite the narrative of that. Example “this horrible situation has happened so that i can learn and grow from it”.
Even if your friends are in the cons, dont be afraid to priortise yourself and your peace.
Remember, life is a journey, have faith everything happens for a reason.
Day 3:
Feed your soul
Fill your mind with empowering content. This is very important, in changing your mindset. Go onto pinterest/Youtube or grab a book on self love and spend just 5 mins on this daily. Gradually increase the time required if possible.
Mindless scrolling and consuming useless information has far greater impact then you realise.
Invest in yourself by consuming the right content.
Day 4:
Parent Yourself
Look at a picture of yourself as a baby or young child. How would you talk differently to yourself if you were talking to them? What do you to tell them?
Treat yourself like your own child.
Give them the unconditional love, because they deserve it.
Do the things they wanted to do. Heal your inner child.
Day 5:
Take yourself out on a date.
Do something for yourself, and do it only for you.
If you have anxiety about going out alone. Here’s a tip: No one cares, do you remember the last person you stared at eating alone in a public space? Chances are no, so out there and do something for yourself. Even if its a nice dinner, or a 10min walk to get a coffee. Bring yourself out, you deserve it.
Day 6:
Gratitude
Saying thanks to the things in your life is so important, only when you are thankful you are allowing more greatness to come into your life.
Back to the paper and pens, find a safe place and thing about all the things you are grateful for in life. Some prompts:
The people around you
the experiences you had
the oppurtunities you got
the security you have
or simply just for being healthy and alive
If you just take a moment to count your blessings, you will realise how many there are.
It’s as simple as acknowledging having a shelter over your head or the time you have on your side.
Dont take life for granted.
Day 7:
Compliment someone
The love you have for yourself shows through your actions.
Compliment someone today, call them and tell them what a great job they are doing or how strong they are.
If you feel bold, compliment a stranger. You have no idea how empowering this can be for you and the other person.
Go out there and spread the love!
This self love challenge is build to take small actions each day, hopefully one day this becomes habit to transform your life.
Go out there and live your best life.
